Warwick Poppies 2018

I was asked to create the concept and artwork for a campaign to drive a community-led commemoration of the centenary of the end of World War I. The event far exceeded expectations, attracting international media attention, tens of thousands of visitors and royal approval.

The campaign comprised 2 phases: firstly to encourage people to donate handmade poppies and secondly to promote the display. I wanted to create big impact with a strong and memorable call to action and imagery that was obvious and self-explanatory.
